Bio

Dr. William earned his medical degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt (in 1996) and did his initial training in Internal Medicine and Hematology at Ain Shams University Hospital. His US-based residency was done in UPMC McKeesport in affiliation with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He was in practice as a hospitalist for 4 years, and a visiting investigator at the Jackson Lab in Bar Harbor, ME, before starting his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (in 2009). He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He plans a career in Academics with a focus on hematological malignancies and transplantation. Dr. William is a native of Egypt, married, and has one daughter. He lives in Omaha and enjoys outdoor activities with his family.
