Objective: The recent EORTC-NCIC randomized trial comparing primary debulking surgery (PDS) to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) in advanced epithelial ovarian carcinoma (EOC) reported a median progression-free survival (PFS) of 12 months and overall survival (OS) of 30 months for both arms.
