Abstract
Phyllodes tumors of the breast are rare tumors, accounting for less than 0.5% of all breast tumors. These tumors are comprised of both stromal and epithelial elements; and traditionally they are graded by the use of a set of histologic features into benign, borderline, and malignant subtypes. Unfortunately, the histologic classification of phyllodes tumors does not reliably predict clinical behavior.The mainstay of treatment of non metastatic phyllodes tumors of the breast is complete surgical resection...
