Single-Dose Carboplatin Equal to RT in Seminoma

Dr. Tim Oliver is Sir Maxwell Joseph Chair of Medical Oncology, St. Bartholomew's and The Royal London Hospital School of Medicine and Dentistry, London. 

A single dose of adjuvant carboplatin prevented 75% of recurrences and decreased contralateral tumors by 78% in an MRC/EORTC trial comparing this chemotherapy to radiation in men with stage I seminoma.
