(00:03:24) Elsevier Global Medical News, 2008 Dec 11, K Wachter

Dr. Stephen Jones is Medical Director, US Oncology Inc.

Dr. Jones discusses findings of the Tamoxifen Exemestane Adjuvant Multinational (TEAM) trial suggesting that the aromatase inhibitor exemestane improves disease-free and relapse-free survival over tamoxifen at 2.75 years of follow-up. In this, the first planned analysis of the phase III TEAM trial, women with ER+ early breast cancer who received exemestane also had longer time to distant metastasis than did those who received tamoxifen.
